WARSAW — The Wheels on Fire – Cancer Crusaders Team has been supporting cancer patients for 16 years.

On Saturday, Aug. 24,  the team will be sponsoring their fourth annual ‘Smash Out Cancer’ event at the Akron Community Center in Akron.

From 3-9 p.m. There will be music, food, 3 on 3 basketball, Cornhole, Volleyball, Home Run Derby and a Silent Auction. A pie and cake auction will be held at 8 p.m. At 9 p.m. there will be a Light Up Your Life Ceremony with Doves of Love Balloons honoring those that are cancer survivors and remembering those who lost the fight. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy the event.

All proceeds will benefit the Cancer Care Funds of Kosciusko and Fulton Counties. The Wheels on Fire Team is a ministry outreach of the Beaver Dam United Methodist Church. (574) 893-7052.
