WARSAW — Kmart in Warsaw is closing, according to an employee.
A worker with the store on US 30 confirmed the announcement Saturday morning.
The move appears to be part of another round of closings of Kmart and Sears stores. According to numerous reports, The latest round of closings involves the shuttering of five Kmarts and 21 Sears stores across the United States and Puerto Rico.
The Warsaw store is one of the few remaining Kmarts in northern Indiana.
Attempts to seek comment from the corporate office were not immediately available Saturday morning.
