WARSAW – The countdown for some has been on for weeks. Count no further.
The 2019-20 athletic calendar is officially underway in full this weekend. While girls golf has been swinging away for about two weeks, the remainder of the nine-sport high school schedule kicks in with football scrimmages tonight, volleyball and soccer get started tomorrow with season openers and both boys tennis and cross country will get going early next week. Tackle football opens up next Friday, Aug. 23, and its little brother, Unified Flag Football, gets going in September.
Keep up with all the sports on Ink Free Sports as the seasons unfold, which will also include middle school and community sports as they are made available.
Ink Free Sports will also update its Photos page, which will showcase photos from any and all games we cover live, whether its three photos or 30.
We appreciate the continued support as we spotlight area athletics. Here’s to another great year as the fall season ushers us in.
