Glow Golf Celebrates First Fundraiser Event
SYRACUSE – The Kosciusko County Cancer Care Fund helped raise over $9,800 from its first Glow Golf outing at Maxwelton Golf Club.
At dusk, 18 teams took to the course for the outing, which was developed to help those and their families dealing with cancer in Kosciusko County with expenses like mortgages, rent, utilities, medicine, transportation and wellness rehabilitation.
Joining the teams at the course was Indianapolis-based band The Tempos.
Play was structured with glow-in-the dark balls, a flashlight and glow sticks. Play went well into the night, taking golfers well past midnight.
Organizers Eric and Lisa Rosales put together all the course set-ups and secured ERS Wireless as the event sponsor. Synergy Transport and other individuals contributed to the success of the event. The CCF fundraising committee want to extend our sincere thanks to all the individuals and companies that help us provide immediate financial aid to those friends and neighbors battling cancer.
