Warsaw Schools Working On New Website
WARSAW — Warsaw Community Schools is in the process of boasting a new website, highlighted by a simplified and user-friendly new domain name.
Spearheaded by staff members Alyssa Richardson and Justin Weaver, the new site at warsawschools.org will be centered around what Richardson said was continued research on what users look for the most.
“When we started the actual process, we wanted to get as many people involved in sharing information,” Richardson told the WCS board of trustees during a work session Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 13. “We asked ourselves ‘how do we make content most people need in an easy way.”
WCS Chief Accountability Officer Dani Barkey said parents’ needs were an important part of the new site’s development strategy.
“What we’re finding from our analytics is that parents really want information,” Barkey said.
Until the new website is completed, which will take some time, users who search by the old domain will automatically be re-directed to the new site.
