Kosciusko
Officers from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following incidents:
- 8:28 a.m. Monday, Aug. 12, 1600 block of East CR 200N, Warsaw. Police responded to the Chase Schwinnen residence to investigate the theft of a scooter. Value: $800.
- 1:55 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, 5300 block of West CR 900N, Milford. Police responded to the Freeman L. Kuhns residence to investigate a burglary. Taken was $1,370 worth of tools.
- 3:29 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, 9200 block of North CR 425 W, Milford. Police responded to the Elmer Schwartz residence to investigate a burglary. Taken was $150.
- 6:17 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, 6700 block of North SR 13, North Webster. Police responded to the Dollar General to investigate the theft of ear buds, candy, reading glasses, cleaning supplies and hygiene items. Value: $120.
- 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, 6200 block of East CR 350S, Pierceton. Police responded to the Frederick Jones residence to investigate 2012 white Chevrolet Silverado. Value: $15,000.
- 11:33 a.m. Friday, Aug. 9, East Pickwick Park Drive, Syracuse. Police took a report from Keith Liby who reported a burglary to a construction sight. Taken was $1,820 worth of tools.
- 10:35 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, 4300 block of North Old Road 15, Warsaw. Police responded to the Michael Tagler residence to investigate a fraud. Damage: $800.
- 11:58 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, 12500 block of South CR 425W, Silver Lake. Police responded to the Bret Torpy residence to investigate a burglary. Taken were unspecified vehicles and tools. Value: $26,300.
Warsaw
Officers from the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 7:21 p.m. Aug. 11, 400 block of East Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Police responded to the Carlie Gibson residence to investigate the theft of a play pen, video game consoles and assorted jewelry. Value: $750.
- 6:46 p.m. Aug. 10, 3300 block of Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Police responded to the Kelly Hardy residence to investigate a theft. Taken from a vehicle was a cell phone. Value: $180.
- 11:21 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, 700 block of West Market Street, Warsaw. Police responded to the Robert Penn residence to investigate a residential entry.
- 11:22 a.m. Friday, Aug. 9, 2500 block of Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. Police responded to Walmart to investigate a report of shoplifting. Taken was $92.02 worth of consumable goods.
Winona Lake
Officers from the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following incident:
- 11:45 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, 1500 block of Kings Highway, Winona Lake. Police responded to the Rachel Wright residence to investigate a criminal mischief. According to police, a person is suspected of causing $40,000 worth of damage to a dwelling after being evicted.
