Pedro M. Ruiz, 91, Culver, passed away on July 29, 2019.

He was born Dec. 31, 1927, in Donna, Tex., one of several children born to Alejandro and Paz
(Medrano) Ruiz. He fell in love and married Manuela Chavez. They then moved to Indiana and began
raising their family of 10 children. Manuela preceded him in death in 2002.

He worked 37 years at Osborn Seed & Equipment Co. and retired as a foreman in 1987. He was a
member of the Moose Lodge in Plymouth and enjoyed music. He also loved to dance. He was a man
who loved his family dearly and believed in always doing your best.

He is survived by his children: Juan, Estaban, Daniel, Pedro Jr., Eloid, Roy, Eva, and Olga Ruiz,
Delia Lopez, and Enedina (Nina) Cross; 16 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at the Plymouth Moose Lodge at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17. Friends and family may gather there from 1 to 5 p.m. Refreshments will be provided.
