11:46 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, South County Farm Road, near East CR 350S, Warsaw. Driver: Grant M. Bibler, 18, Trailside Drive, Winona Lake. Bibler was traveling north on South County Farm Road when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $5,000
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accidents:
3:02 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, 730 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Drivers: Brittany N. Hughes, 24, North Sir Gallahad Place, Cromwell; and Steven A. Kaiser, 76, East Bowser Road, Syracuse. Hughes was traveling south in the parking slot in the wrong lane of travel when Kaiser’s vehicle backed into Hughes’. Damage up to $2,500.
4:28 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5, 726 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Driver: Marvin J. Hooker, 73, East Peck Avenue, White Pigeon, Mich. Hooker was traveling south on South Huntington Street when he passed out, causing his vehicle to strike a guardrail post. Hooker sustained an injury to his elbow and lower arm due to the accident. Damage up to $10,000.
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
7:15 a.m. Friday, Aug. 9, East Market Street, north of South Indiana Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Sharon L. Roberts, 55, South CR 1000W, Claypool; and Melinda J. Miller, 43, East Market Street, Warsaw. Roberts was traveling east on Market Street when she began to make a left turn. She didn’t notice Miller’s vehicle traveling west on Market Street when the collision occurred. Damage up to $25,000.
7:02 a.m. Friday, Aug. 9, East Center Street, near North Buffalo Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Dena J. Lancaster, 42, East Main Street, Warsaw; and Kent S. Stouder, 53, West CR 250S, Warsaw. Lancaster was traveling south on North Buffalo Street, approaching the intersection of East Center Street. When she entered the intersection, her vehicle struck Stouder’s. Damage up to $10,000.
6:53 a.m. Friday, Aug. 9, Husky Trail, near East Mariners Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: James J. Kraus, 81, Dogwood Lane, Warsaw; and Eleanor Montalbano, 75, Church Hill Downs Drive 1, Warsaw. Kraus was traveling north on Husky Trail when he entered a roundabout and struck Montalbano’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
