Hei Hatcher
Hei Hatcher, Warsaw, passed away after a long illness at 7:11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8, 2019, at Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne at the age of 39.
She was born on April 8, 1980, in Seoul, South Korea to Sook Kyung (Kim) Cho and Kyung Hwan Cho. On May 10, 2008 she was married to Derek Steven Hatcher.
Hei graduated from high school in Leonia, N.J. in 1998. She moved to Kosciusko County in 2002 and attended Indiana University – Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW). She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in 2013 in nursing. She enjoyed working at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne until her retirement due to illness in 2017. Hei was full of life and enjoyed playing video games, reading, cooking and she had a great love for her cats. Most of all her beautiful soul will be forever missed by her family.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 11 years, Derek Steven Hatcher, Warsaw; her mother: Sook Kyung Cho, Palisades Park, N.J.; brother: Don (Sue Ann) Cho, Fair Lawn, N.J.; father and mother-in-Law: James and Ann Hatcher, Leesburg; and her beloved niece and nephew: Ella and Evan. She was preceded in death by her father Kyung Hwan Cho in 2008.
Friends and family are invited to share time to visit from 4-7 p.m., Monday, Aug. 12, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
