Lois E. Harrison
Lois E. Harrison, 81, Syracuse, passed away at 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2019, at her home. She was born on April 28, 1938, in Peru, to Charles and Mary (Pontius) Fish.
She lived most of her life in the Marion area and was married on Aug. 16, 1975, in Wabash County, to Steven James Harrison who preceded her on March 26, 1989. She was a homemaker and formerly worked at Good Time Charlies in Marion & Manns Kountry Kitchen in Silver Lake. She formerly lived in Claypool, Silver Lake, and Warsaw before moving to Syracuse eight years ago.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary & life member of the Am Vets both in Marion.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Morr, Syracuse; son, Robert (Amy) Craig, Marion; three grandchildren: Jeff Thompson, Kyle Thompson, and Lacy Evans; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers: Roger (Inez) Fish, North Carolina and Chuck (Darlene) Widner, Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Donnie Rice, two sisters, Rite Kent and Katie Zaragoza, and brother – Arthur Widner.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw. No public services will be held. Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St. Syracuse, IN is in charge of arrangements.
