Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accident:
5 a.m. Friday, Aug. 2, North CR 300E, south of East CR 1050N, Syracuse. Driver: Kevin N. Hunter, 52, North CR 175E 84, Warsaw. Hunter was traveling south on CR 300E when a deer entered the roadway, striking his vehicle’s windshield. This caused Hunter’s vehicle to leave the roadway, driving down through an embankment and through a horse fence. Damage up to $10,000.
Milford
Officers with the Milford Police Department investigated the following accident:
11:54 a.m. Friday, Aug. 2, CR 1300N, east of Old Road 15 North, Milford. Drivers: Paul R. Scott, 16, North Moore Street, Syracuse; and Annetta Braddock, 53, South Harkless Drive, Syracuse. Scott was traveling west on CR 1300N when he rear-ended Braddock’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:
10:24 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, South Harkless Drive, north of North SR 13, Syracuse. Drivers: Phil M. Jensen, 54, East Porthcawl Road, Winona Lake; and Carla Fawley, 62, North SR 13, Syracuse. Fawley had backed her vehicle out onto South Harmless Drive when Jensen backed his vehicle, causing a collision. Damage up to $1,000.
