Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

5:45 a.m. Monday, July 29, North CR 300E, north of Old Road 30, Warsaw. Driver: Austin H. Head, 23, Old Farm Road, Warsaw. Head’s vehicle struck a deer. Damage up to $2,500. 

11:43 p.m. Sunday, July 28, East CR 350N, west of North CR 100E, Warsaw. Driver: Shravan V. Patil, 27, Lakeland Drive, Warsaw. Patil’s vehicle struck a deer. Damage up to $5,000. 

4:52 p.m. Friday, July 26, East CR 250N, east of North CR 1000E, Pierceton. Drivers: Jerry L. Sheets, 57, US 30, Pierceton; and Herald D. Boesenberg, 30, North CR 650E, Warsaw. Both vehicles were traveling west on CR 250E, approaching the intersection. Boesenberg said he was passing Sheets’ vehicle and did not observe Sheets having his turn signal on. As Boesenberg was attempting to pass, Sheets’ vehicle turned, striking Boesenberg’s vehicle. Sheets suffered injuries to his face and legs and was taken to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne. Damage up to $5,000. 

Fulton

Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

1:54 p.m. Saturday, July 27, Southeast Lakeshore Drive, Macy. Jeremy K. Jones reported a vehicle backed into the driveway of his neighbor, David C. Thomas, and struck a fence then left the scene. Damage up to $100.

Noon, Friday, July 28, North Old US 31, Rochester. Drivers: Donald E. Eatman, 51, Rochester; and Kimberly K. Banic, 16, Rochester. Eatmon’s vehicle collided with Banic’s vehicle.

7 a.m. Friday July 26, CR 500N and CR 450E. Driver: Austin Calvert, age and address unknown. Calvert’s vehicle hit deer.
