WARSAW — An area non-profit designed to support the vast local orthopedic industry has announced it will host an event to showcase the progress made by a team of interns this summer.
During the Thursday, Aug. 1 event, called RealME, presentations will be made by local 10th-grade interns of OrthoWorx from 11 a.m. to noon, with lunch and networking to follow from noon to 1 p.m. The event will take place at the 2517 Building, 2517 E. Center St., Warsaw.
The OrthoWorx interns are wrapping-up their summer and after 10 weeks of work, they will tell attendees what they have created to support local industry and engage Kosciusko County students. They’ll also share some modifications to the 8th-grade program launched in 2018, DiscoverME, and will highlight their overall intern experiences regarding manufacturing, workforce development, orthopedics, diversity and inclusion, and life in Warsaw.
