Combined Community Services To Hold Tools For School Event
WARSAW — Combined Community Services will hold its annual Tools for School event at the Kosciusko County Community Fairgrounds from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 31.
Tools for School helps prepare Kosciusko County K-12 students in need for the upcoming school year by providing them with some of the essential school supplies.
Students can enjoy breakfast provided by Warsaw Community Schools from 8-10 a.m. as well as haircuts by Fiesta Salons throughout the day. Tools for School is an opportunity for CCS and the community to come together and help Kosciusko County students put their best foot forward in their next school year.
Some items given out are book bags, pencils, pens, lined paper, notebooks, folders, glue, rulers, colored pencils and crayons. Tables with representatives from a spectrum of community resources will be present at the event to help families connect with beneficial services in the community. Willie 103.5 and 107.3 WRSW will broadcast live at the event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., according to a news release from CCS.
CCS is still in need of school supply donations or financial support toward purchasing supplies. These can be dropped off at CCS, located at 1195 Mariners Drive, Warsaw, by July 30.
