Krugman, Hauptli Part Of Academic All-State
INDIANAPOLIS – The final piece of the 2019 baseball puzzle was placed late Tuesday night with the announcement of the Indiana High School Baseball Coaches Association Academic All-State recipients.
A pair of local players were named to the list from across the state, seniors Jacob Krugman of Wawasee and Kyler Hauptli of NorthWood.
The list, which encompassed all classes in Indiana, named 176 players in all.
Others from the area named to the list include AJ Poe of Lakeland; Austin Cain, Joe Good and Josh Haimes of Goshen; Brian Christiansen of DeKalb; Bryan Ramirez, Cole Filson and Jackson Lee of Plymouth; Carl Fisher of Mishawaka; Dalton Bell of Columbia City; Hunter Sharick of Westview; Jack Vukovits of John Glenn; Jacob Bishop and Michael Gibson of Mishawaka Marian; Jared Miller of Elkhart Central; Kenneth Gill and Mark Siedentopf of Culver Academy; and Joe Rotkis, Nick Dolniak, Noah Hickey and Patrick Farrisee of South Bend St. Joe.
