Kosciusko County Extension Homemakers Open Class Fair Entry Day July 6
WARSAW — Thinking about entering something into the Kosciusko County Community 4-H Fair this year? Did you know that anyone can enter items into the open class exhibits in the Kosciusko County Fair?
A chance to get involved is quickly approaching. Entry day for the Kosciusko County Fair will be from 8 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 6, at the Home and Family Arts Building at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds in Warsaw.
The open class departments consist of: agriculture, crafts, fine arts/photography, foods, food preservation garden flowers & plants, herbs, needlework, quilting and sewing. There are many divisions within each of these departments, including miscellaneous; so if you make something in one of these categories, there is a good chance it can be entered into an exhibit.
A copy of the open class fair book is available and recaps the categories and rules. Copies can be obtained at the Purdue Extension office at 202 W. Main St., in Warsaw, by email, calling the Extension Office at (574) 372-2340, online at http://bit.ly/KCOpenClass or at the Fair Office.
