Bell Memorial Library To Host ‘Out Of This World’ Activities For Teens
MENTONE — Bell Memorial Public Library will be closed on Thursday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.
There will be no children’s summer reading program activities during the week of July 4. However, there will be activities scheduled for teens and young adults.
Teens and young adults are invited to come to the library at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, to make and bake moon pies. Sign up is requested for participation.
The library’s summer reading program is currently underway and there’s still time to sign up. This year’s theme is “A Universe of Stories.” The program will run from June 3 to July 12, and there are programs for all age groups. Family movie days take place on Wednesdays and craft sessions for kids, teens and young adults take place on Thursdays. Some teen crafts are planned for Tuesdays and sign up is requested for participation in craft activities.

Teens and young adults are invited to make an out of this world tie-dye T-shirt at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 27.
A book sale is happening now in the library’s main lobby. Prices are 25 cents for hardbacks or five for $1, 10 cents for paperbacks, including trade paperbacks, 50 cents for audiobooks and 25 cents for music CDs. DVDs are sold as marked.
