Juanita Ann Clay
Juanita Ann Clay, 80, Warsaw, passed away at 10:53 p.m. on Monday, June 24, 2019, at Kosciusko Community Hospital of Warsaw.
She was born on Oct. 6, 1938, in Noble County, to Laurabel (Bixler) Franks and Marion Thomas Franks. One day Juanita went shopping for a car at Menzie Motors and met a really great car salesman! She had met her future husband, Robert “Bob” Lee Clay, and one year later they were married on June 12, 1960.
She was a resident of Kosciusko County, for the past 75 years where she was a 1957 graduate of Atwood High School. Upon graduating she worked at Dahms & Yarian Accounting in Warsaw for five years. Bob and Juanita wintered in Florida for the past 22 years and enjoyed their time there very much. She was a wonderful wife and mother, and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 59 years, Robert “Bob” Lee Clay, Warsaw; three sons: David (Mindy) Clay, Seymour; Dan (Jodi) Clay, Columbia City; Steve (Brandy) Clay, Round Rock, Texas; and five grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters: Carol (Doug) Shilling, Silver Lake; Kathleen Franks, Winona Lake; and two brothers: Keith (Marci) Franks, Warsaw; William (Katherine) Franks, Montello, Wisc.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Norma Franks and Lois Breading.
A private family graveside service will take place at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw and officiated by Pastor Doug Vogel. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
