Mentone Authorities Warn Of Several Overnight Break-Ins

Video surveillance captured the image of two boys breaking into vehicles around 1 a.m. Wednesday, June 5.
MENTONE — According to Mentone Town Board member Tim Croy, the town has experienced several overnight break-ins this past week. The above photo was taken from a security camera around 1 a.m. Wednesday, June 12. The surveillance video showed two boys breaking into unlocked vehicles.
“We have had several vehicles broken into and vandalism done to several businesses in the downtown area,” said Croy. “We are asking the community for their help in putting a stop to this. Please keep your vehicles locked and valuables out of sight.”
