One More Go-Round For NorthWood’s Miller

INDIANAPOLIS – The tennis season for NorthWood senior Reegan Miller will continue into this weekend.
The No. 1 for the Panthers will compete as part of the 21st annual North-South Tennis All-Star Cup. The match will take place Sunday, June 9, at Marian University in Indianapolis. Tennis matches begin at 10 a.m., with each player competing in three rounds of play.
Miller was among those selected by a panel from the Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association. For the season, Miller was 17-6 overall and helped the Panthers to a sectional title and regional finals appearance.
The North team, coached by Plymouth’s Brad Haeck, include Miller, Alysa Guffey of Indianapolis Chatard, Faith Egenolf and Shelby Yates of Covenant Christian, Esther Bridwell of Covington, Mayzie Hinkle of Delta, Kayla Dubuque and Courtney Kreischer of Marion, and Claire Cherry and Josee King of New Palestine.
The South team, coached by Debby Burton of Center Grove and Karen Starkey of Brownsburg, include Katie Sesslar and Elise Sutton of Avon, Jillian Garrett and Ellie Strube of Center Grove, Rachel Merida of Cambridge City Lincoln, Kate Heuchan and Daryn Hyneman of Franklin, Kiersten Martin of Plainfield, Hannah Conder of Providence, and Reese Johnson of Whiteland.
