On April 3, an officer with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office spoke with a female subject, who advised that unknown subjects stole an aluminum rowboat from her yard. The female advised her neighbor observed two male subjects drive away from her property in a gray truck with an aluminum boat cut in half.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, the officer went to Lewis Salvage. Employees advised that a male subject, identified as Daniels, brought in an aluminum boat cut in half. The officer identified the stolen boat by its registration number. The officer also obtained copies of the purchase ticket signed by Daniels and a photograph of Daniels signing the bill of sale.
