Whitko, Bremen Stars Highlight ICGSA Softball Honors

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association released its selections for its softball All-State as well as its choices for the North-South All-Star Game.
The ICGSA splits its All-State picks between Class 3-A/4-A and Class 1-A/2-A and into First, Second and Third Teams.
For Class 1-A/2-A, Whitko’s Emalee Duggins, Bremen’s Erin Coffel, Central Noble’s Madison Bremer and Caston’s Adelyn Harsh were all First Team. Whitko’s Ellie Snep, Bremen’s Kaelyn Shively, LaVille’s Allison Medors and North Miami’s Ashley Lackman were all Second Team. Whitko’s Guinevere Garr and Shiana Bradley, Bremen’s Rylee Hershberger, Winamac’s Kelsey Crawford and Central Noble’s Jocelyn Winebrenner were all Third Team.
For Class 3-A/4-A, Penn’s Mackenzie Griman was First Team. Concord’s Yadi Gomez, Knox’s McKenzie McIntire and St. Joe’s Lauren Sandor were all Second Team. Penn’s Brenna Brown, Adams’ Alexandra Bare-Davis, East Noble’s Danielle Jacquay and Columbia City’s Bella Ross were all Third Team.
The North-South All-Star Game, which will be played June 22 in a doubleheader at Andy Mohr Stadium on the campus of Indiana University, had Snep, Duggins, Shively, Griman, Bare-Davis, McIntire and Mishawaka’s Megan Fry all make the respective rosters.
