Tommie E. “Gorman” Reffitt, 77, Pierceton, passed away at 10:16 p.m., Tuesday, May 28, 2019, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. He was born on July 17, 1941, to Jimmie and Lisha (Ousley) Reffitt in Prestonsburg, Ky.
He was a foreman for Chore-Time for 34 years. He was a member of Lighthouse Ministries, Trinity Faith Ministries and New Life Christian Church & World Outreach. He enjoyed Southern gospel music and helping others. He cherished his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by daughter: Reba (spouse Jamy) Gregory, of Pierceton; son: Dale Reffitt, of Warsaw; sister: Juanita (spouse Paul) Bradford, of Silver Lake;; brother: Ray Reffitt, of Pierceton; four grandchildren: Jordan Gregory, of Marietta, Ga.; Jalen Gregory, of Lakewood, Colo.; Jasmine Gregory, of Pierceton; Jayda Gregory, of Pierceton.
He was preceded in death by both parents; sister: Marie Baldridge, of Sidney; brother: Corbin Reffitt, of Warsaw.
Visitation hours are scheduled from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Monday, June 3, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
Funeral Service will also be on Monday at 1 p.m. in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Terry Bradford, Jamy Gregory, and Jeff Pfeifer officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
