Loren D. Stichter
Loren D. Stichter, 83, Warsaw, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at Paddock Springs Health Campus in Warsaw. He was born April 12, 1936, in Illinois to Gordon and Esther (Good) Stichter. On May 13, 1961, he married Rachel Buchen, who survives.
He founded Warsaw Masonry Supply and Glamour Pools and Spas. He loved going to Florida and traveling. He enjoyed working on missions projects. Loren loved his family and his grandchildren.
Loren Stichter is survived by his wife Rachel of 58 years, three children: Brian (Jennifer) Stichter of Leesburg; Bruce (Brenda) Stichter of Warsaw; Ben (Kris) Stichter of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and nine grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother Ralph (Fannie Mae) Stichter of Elkhart, two sisters: Carolyn (Toby) Graber of Spooner, Wisc.; and Lorene (Elwood) Schrock of Harrisonburg, Va.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Don, Leonard and Ken.
A service celebrating Loren Stichter’s life will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 5, at Mishler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 461 West 900 North, Milford. Reverend Michael Smith will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Leesburg Cemetery.
The family will receive guests from 3-7 p.m., Tuesday, June 4, at the Funeral Home.
