Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
8:45 a.m. Thursday, May 30, North SR 13, north of East Waco Drive, Syracuse. Driver: Nicole A. Miller, 30, Railside Drive, Syracuse. Miller was traveling south on SR 13 when her vehicle left the roadway, striking a fence owned by Lakeland Animal Clinic. Damage up to $5,000.
7:14 a.m. Thursday, May 30, North SR 13, south of East South Barbee Drive, Pierceton. Driver: Barry L. Sleighter, 62, South CR 950W 92, Pierceton. Sleighter was traveling south on SR 13 when a large tree fell onto the roadway, striking the front of his vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
7:38 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, North Turkey Creek Road, south of East CR 1000N, Syracuse. Driver: Kandice R. Ferguson, 16, East Greenhouse Drive 55, Syracuse. Ferguson was traveling on the curve of East Hatchery Road when her vehicle left the roadway. This caused her vehicle to strike a Nipsco utility pole and several cement barriers at the Northern Indiana Conservation Officer District. Damage up to $10,000.
1:41 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, North East Wawasee Drive, near East Black Point Road, Syracuse. Driver: Justin T. Kemper, 33, East Crow Road, Syracuse. Kemper was traveling south on North East Wawasee Drive when he struck an animal. Damage up to $5,000.
