Nappanee Library Summer Reading Space Themed
NAPPANEE — The Nappanee Public Library has announced it’s summer reading programs for 2019.
The library is celebrating a universe of stories and an out-of-this-world summer adventure to coincide with NASA’s 60 years of achievement and its celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing.
Patrons can read anything for this program — books, eBooks, magazines or comics.
With the library’s paperless logging system, it is easier than ever for patrons to keep track of their minutes. Participants will record their minutes by visiting nappaneelibrary.org.
Patrons can also participate in programs for the whole family and other exciting events during the Summer Reading Challenge to earn extra tickets toward prizes.
Achievement Prizes will be awarded to every reader during the challenge. For every 60 minutes a patron reads, they will earn one entry toward the drawing for the library’s reading prize: A Fire HD 8 Tablet. Patrons will receive one ticket toward the tablet.
Summer reading kicks off Saturday, June 1.
