WARSAW 156, PLYMOUTH 166, ELKHART MEMORIAL 174
Warsaw clinched the regular season Northern Lakes Conference championship with a 10-stroke win over Plymouth.
The Tigers and Pilgrims came into the night both 5-0, and Warsaw took the reigns at Rozella Ford Golf Course with a medalist even par 35 from Cal Hoskins. Chase Byron was just two back at 37. Seth Hildebrand had a 41 and Zach LaLonde a 43 to close out Warsaw’s undefeated run in the conference. Tucker Carlile had the fifth score of 44.
The Warsaw JV also went 7-0 in the NLC with a 174 to best Plymouth by 29 and Memorial by 40. Lewis Turley had a 42 to lead the Tigers.
Warsaw will look to win the NLC outright at Saturday’s NLC Championships at South Shore.
WAWASEE 165, NORTHRIDGE 182
Wawasee closed out its Northern Lakes Conference golf season with a win at South Shore.
Home course knowledge helped the Warriors as its four scores were all within four strokes of one another. Caden Welty earned his first medalist honors of the spring with a 39, followed by Tyler Bosstick at 41, Zach Leedy at 42 and Evan Dippon at 43. Dillon Drake had a 50 as the fifth Wawasee score.
Ridge had Marcus Keck lead the team with a 42, followed by Tyler Frazier at 44, Landon Crawford at 47 and Blake Neely at 49.
Wawasee (13-4, 5-2 NLC) finished third in the round robin entering the NLC Championships.
NORTHWOOD 169, GOSHEN 172, CONCORD 185
NorthWood sent out its seniors in style with a double to close the NLC season at McCormick Creek.
The Panthers had Sean Hogan lead the way with a 38. Cooper Wiens had a 41, Jon Cripe a 43 and Kyle Cripe a 47 for the varsity keepers, with Hogan’s classmate, Liam Hammond shooting a 49 as the fifth score.
NorthWood ends its NLC season 4-3 and fourth place in the round robin ahead of Saturday.
MANCHESTER 161, WHITKO 191, TIPPECANOE VALLEY 215
Manchester shot its season low at Sycamore Golf Course.
Harley Kruschwitz recovered with a bogey on the first to birdie three of the next four holes and finish his day two-under at 34 to lead the Squires. Owen Kruschwitz added a two-over 38, Mathias McLaughlin had a 40 and Logan Parrett shot 49 for the Manchester keepers.
Whitko had a 41 from Cade Bechtold, 43 from Kylar Bryant, 49 from Dale Reiff and 58 from Jon Strayer.
Tippecanoe Valley had its usual low round from Cade Brouyette at 38 which included birdies on both par fives. Mason Purvis had a 52, followed by a 61 from Bryce Madeford and 64 from Johnny Gonsalez.
