WARSAW —The Baker Youth Club is pleased to announce the launch of their extended hours for BYC’s Summer Camp. Traditionally BYC offered the Summer Program with afternoon hours.
Tracy Furnivall, Executive Director, commented: “We have always just provided an afternoon program but we have seen an increase in need for all-day summer programming. We are able to keep the cost lower with the support of the K21 Health Foundation, United Way and our community” says Furnivall.
The Summer Program will now be available from 7 a.m. through 5:30 p.m.
The program will focus on health, education and social skill building. The days will consist of many different activities, field trips, STEM projects, reading programs and keeping the children busy and active. BYC will provide a morning snack and lunch will be provided through a partnership with Warsaw Community Schools Summer Feeding Program.
The cost for the all-day program is $75 per week (discounts for multiple children) or $20 per day and is open for any child that has completed K-8 in the 2018-2019 school year. Registration for the Summer Program is now open. Parents may call or stop by BYC to register their children.
