Officers from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
10:10 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, South County Farm Road, south of CR 700S, Claypool. Driver: Dawson L. Wright, 19, Warner Street, Claypool. Wright told police he was driving his vehicle northbound on County Farm Road when he fell asleep, causing his vehicle to leave the roadway and strike a bush and utility pole, snapping the pole in half. Damage up to $10,000.
4:56 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, East CR 450N, south of North CR 475E, Warsaw. Drivers: Kyle R. Campbell, 24, East Old Road 30, Warsaw; Brian L. Neher, 45, East Sheridan Street, Warsaw. Campbell told police he fell asleep and that his vehicle struck the vehicle driven by Neher. Both drivers complained of pain, but signed off further medical attention. Damage up to $10,000.
3:53 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, East Main Street and North Harrison Street, Warsaw. Drivers: David E. Ryman, 76, North CR 750W, Warsaw; Craig J. Miner, 19, East Lantern Road, Warsaw. Ryman told police he was driving his vehicle westbound on East Main Street and did not see the vehicle driven by Miner. Ryman said he turned his vehicle left and that it collided with the vehicle driven by Miner. Damage up to $5,000.
