WCHS Student Accepted To Air Force Academy
WASHINGTON — U.S. Rep. Jim Banks announced last week that a student at Warsaw Community High School was named among four students from Banks’ district who have accepted appointments at U.S. Service Academies as the Class of 2023.
Noah Marshall said he is eager to attend the United States Air Force Academy later this year. As a student at Warsaw Community High School, Marshall served as a JROTC officer, worked as a lifeguard at his local YMCA, and volunteered with Baker’s Youth Club. Noah has competed as a member of Warsaw’s cross-country and track teams, obtaining a varsity letter in the former. He looks forward to beginning this next chapter in his life and, “helping to preserve all that is great about our nation.” Said Banks, “These four young men represent the best of Indiana and the best of our country. I have no doubt that they will one day represent our communities well in their service to America as officers in the U.S. Military. Amanda and I join Hoosiers everywhere to wish Connor, Dirk, Jakob and Noah the best as they begin their patriotic service.”
