SYRACUSE — Wawasee Community Schools is having an early online registration this spring for current students. Registration will open at noon Monday, May 20, and run until Friday, June 7. The purpose is to collect data for planning purposes for staffing, transportation, etc.
This will also be an advantage for parents as it will reduce the number of forms (steps) required to be completed at regular registration in July and give parents a chance to update their demographic information. There are several forms that are grade level, building, and date sensitive that will not be available at this time and will still need to be completed in July. As in the past, parents of new students to the corporation will still need to attend building registration in August at the school their child will attend.
For those with students who will be in kindergarten this fall and attended Kindergarten Roundup, that was early registration for those students, and their parents will be able to complete online registration beginning at noon Tuesday, July 16. If parents have a child who will be 5 on or before Aug. 1, 2019, and did not attend Kindergarten Roundup, please contact the child’s school before school is out to let the school know the student will be attending kindergarten in the fall.
Early online registration is Monday, May 20, beginning at noon to midnight Friday, June 7.
Complete online registration (returning students only) Tuesday, July 16, beginning at noon until school starts.
Building registration (new and returning students) is Friday, Aug. 2, and Monday, Aug. 5, noon to 7 p.m. at Milford, North Webster and Syracuse schools.
And Monday, Aug. 5, and Tuesday, Aug. 6, from noon to 7 p.m. at Wawasee High School and Wawasee Middle School.
