WARSAW — A motorcyclist was transported by helicopter for injuries sustained in a vehicle accident that occurred near the intersection of Detroit and Main streets in Warsaw.
At approximately 2 p.m. Monday, May 13, Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory and Lutheran EMS responded to a report of an injured motorcyclist. It appears that the male driver was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident and sustained back injuries. A landing zone was set up at Central Park and the motorcyclist was transported by a Lutheran Air medical helicopter for treatment.
Warsaw Police Department officers on scene were unable to advise if another vehicle was involved in the accident or how the accident occurred.
