Two Arrested In Milford Through Net 43 Investigation
MILFORD — Based upon numerous drug complaints, Kosciusko County’s unified narcotics unit, NET 43, initiated a covert criminal investigation at 406 Turkey Creek Drive, Milford. After a lengthy operation, consisting of surveillance and undercover components, a search warrant was obtained for the residence.
On Thursday, May 9, Kosciusko County SWAT executed the search warrant. Two children and two adults were located inside of the home. SWAT officers safely removed the children, who were placed into protective custody with the Indiana Department of Child Services. The two adults, identified as Eric McFarland, 38, and Whitney Schwab, 29, were detained by NET 43.
Inside the house, officers located a stolen firearm, paraphernalia and methamphetamine. McFarland and Schwab were transported to the Kosciusko County Jail and booked on multiple charges. The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, Milford Police Department, Indiana State Police and Lutheran EMS assisted with the operation.
McFarland is being charged with dealing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance, unlawful possession of a handgun by a serious violent felon and theft.
Schwab is being charged with dealing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance and neglect of a dependent.
