On March 29, an officer with the Warsaw Police Department responded to the theft of a trailer. The caller advised that the subjects involved drove next to a parked trailer, hooked it to their vehicle and drove off. According to the affidavit of probable cause, the caller contacted police because they thought the subjects’ actions were suspicious.
The officer located the suspicious vehicle pulling a trailer. The trailer’s license plate was not illuminated and the registration plate was expired. Officers conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver as Collins and the passenger as Puckett.
