Titus Funeral Home To Host Public Safety Luncheon
WARSAW — Titus Funeral Home will be hosting local public safety personnel for a luncheon, held in their honor later May 17.
“The month of May brings many sure signs of spring and often the first glimpses of summer, but also includes three special events, which are sometimes overlooked,” said Titus Funeral Home owner Cory Benz.
“May 4 was International Firefighters Day, the week of May 12 is National Police Week and the week of May 19 is National EMS Week. Each of these professional groups provide vital services to our community, and often do so at the sacrifice of personal family time and under dangerous circumstances. We just want to publicly say thank these special folks and this is one way to do it.”
In addition to the funeral home’s honorary meal, the staff is encouraging Kosciusko County residents to light their homes in red, blue or red, white and blue in honor and support of public safety professionals.
The Titus staff will serve lunch in Titus Funeral Home’s community room, 2000 East Sheridan St., Warsaw with open doors from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
