Bell Library Announces Teen Twilight Zone Night
MENTONE — The Bell Memorial Public Library is inviting interested patrons to its Teen Twilight Zone Night, scheduled for Thursday, May 9 from 4 to 6 p.m. Participants will watch original episodes of “The Twilight Zone” television series and enjoy snacks. Preschool story hour takes place every Friday at 10 a.m. in the library’s children’s’ room. The theme for Friday, May 10 is Rapunzel. Stories to be read are: “Really, Rapunzel Needed a Haircut” by Jessica Gunderson and “Rapunzel” by Paul Zelinsky. Children can make Rapunzel in her tower for their craft.
Monday Afternoon at the Movies
The library invites patrons on Monday, May 13 at 1; 30 pm for Movie Monday. The feature film this month will be “Tammy and the Bachelor.” Popcorn and a beverage will be provided.
For patrons new to Hoopla Digital, the library new titles have been added, including “Dutch Girl” by Robert Marzen, “The Next Right Thing” by Emily P. Freemam and “The Last Stone” by Mark Bowden. Juvenile titles include: “Aru Shah and the Song of Death” by Roshani Chokshi and “Aladdin Read Along Storybook” by various authors.
