Area Police Reports
Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following incidents:
- 10:43 p.m. Sunday, May 5, 300 block South Huntington St., Syracuse. Officers responded to a report of theft at a Lake City Bank branch.
- 10:35 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 8000 block East Cherokee Road, Syracuse. Ryan N. Lenker and James R. Pearson reported an individual who fired a rifle at them while they were fishing.
Fulton
Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incidents:
- 9:28 p.m. Sunday, May 5, 400 block South Sherry St., Akron. Police were notified of a verbal fight and domestic battery.
- 9:20 p.m. Sunday, May 5, 100 block East Maple St., Kewanna. A report was received of a male being threatened.
- 7:57 p.m. Sunday, May 5, 700 block North SR 19, Akron. A resident reported an ongoing problem of people coming to the residence looking for a specific individual.
- 7:48 p.m. Sunday, May 5, 2500 block Wolfs Point Drive, Rochester. Police were notified of an individual driving a boat by the caller’s residence and harassing the homeowner, also exposing himself.
- 3:51 p.m. Sunday, May 5, police were notified of a child abuse matter.
- 4:36 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 900 block Main St., Rochester. A caller reported there was some sort of domestic dispute.
- 3:24 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2300 block Main St., Rochester. A caller advised she witnessed a man hit a little girl with his fist in the back.
- 4:32 p.m. Friday, May 3, police were notified of possible child abuse.
- 7:48 a.m. Friday, May 3, 1000 block Monroe St., Rochester. A domestic dispute was reported.
- 3:34 a.m. Friday, May 3, 700 block East Fourth St., Rochester. A female reported a male was physical with her.
