Parkview Regional Medical Center To Host Preparedness Drills
FORT WAYNE — Two emergency preparedness drills will take place on the Parkview Regional Medical Center campus, located at 11109 Parkview Plaza Drive, Fort Wayne, this weekend.
On Saturday, May 4, the hospital will be hosting a mass casualty exercise in cooperation with area agencies at the Parkview Family Park, the emergency department entrance and entrances 1, 2A and 2C. The drill will take place from 10:15 a.m. to noon.
On Sunday, May 5, the Fort Wayne SWAT team will conduct a training exercise at Ortho Northeast from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
These drills will not impact patients or visitors at PRMC. However, there will be a significant presence of public safety personnel and emergency response vehicles. Public notification is being sent to avoid any confusion.
These events are not open for public participation.
