WARSAW — The weather is warming up and almost right for a lap around the Parkview YMCA trail. Parkview Warsaw Center for Healthy Living has announced a chance for members of the community to take a leisurely stroll with Parkview physician Sabeena Ramrakhiani, MD, PPG-Cardiology, on Thursday, May 9, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
The Walk and Talk with a Doc event will give participants an opportunity to have personal time with a medical professional in a relaxed, non-clinical setting.
“I welcome the chance to talk to people while enjoying a nice stroll outdoors,” said Dr. Ramrakhiani. “I find some of the best conversations take place when walking and talking with others, and this is a unique way to connect with patients while answering their questions.”
The event will feature a short presentation by Dr. Ramrakhiani on the mind/heart connection inside the Center for Healthy Living followed by the group walk.
In the event of inclement weather, the walk will be held on Parkview YMCA’s indoor track. Participants can also can take advantage of free blood pressure screenings, educational materials, water and healthy snacks after the walk. To register for your spot, please call (844) 835-0003. The Parkview Center for Healthy Living is located inside the Parkview Warsaw YMCA at 1350 Mariners Drive, Warsaw.
