Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
8:16 p.m. Thursday, May 2, South CR 250E, north of East CR 100S, Warsaw. Driver: Lella M. Holbrook, 72, North CR 300E, Wwarsaw. Holbrook was traveling north on CR 250E when a vehicle entered her lane of travel. As she turned her vehicle to avoid a collision with the vehicle, the vehicle struck the back end of Holbrook’s vehicle and left the scene. Damage up to $1,000.
2:41 p.m. Thursday, May 2, North CR 850E, south of East CR 150N, Pierceton. Driver: Joshua A. Stutzman, 41, EMS R4 Lane, Pierceton. Stutzman was traveling north on CR 850E when he was prompted to blow into his vehicle’s interlock breathalyzer. As he reached for the breathalyzer, Stutzman’s vehicle left the roadway, striking several trees. Damage up to $25,000.
9:47 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, North CR 100E, south of East CR 250N, Warsaw. Drivers: Jennifer Miranda, 17, East CR 200N, Warsaw; and Mae L. Collier, 33, North Basswood Drive, Warsaw. Miranda was traveling south on CR 100E when a deer entered the roadway. As she stopped her vehicle to avoid striking the deer, Collier’s vehicle slid on the wet roadway and rear-ended Miranda’s. Damage up to $10,000.
