UPDATE — Two Females Transported From Vehicle Accident On Pierceton Road

Two females were transported to the hospital after a two-vehicle accident Wednesday, May 1.
WARSAW — Two females were transported from a two-vehicle accident on East Pierceton Road, near South CR 500E, Warsaw.
At approximately 3:06 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident.
The crash involved a 2000 green Dodge Dakota truck, operated by Merry L. Thomas, 59, South County Farm Road, Claypool; and a 2008 silver Pontiac Torrent, operated by James L. Upp, 29, East Vine Street, Amboy.
Thomas was traveling south on CR 500E and approaching a stop sign at Pierceton Road when she pulled out in front of Upp’s vehicle. Both Thomas and a passenger in her vehicle, Michelle R. Lucas, 46, Warsaw, complained of neck pain and were transported to Parkview Regional Hospital. Upp said his leg was injured and was inspected by EMS but was not transported to the hospital.
Damages are estimated at up to $25,000.
