Top Winners In Easter Coloring Contest
KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — The task was not easy for the judges of this year’s ‘the PAPER’ Easter coloring contest. Just over 100 total entries were received from entries dropped off at the 17 participating advertisers.
Entrants used crayons, colored pencils, various types of markers, glitter and other items in their submissions.
Each individual store winner received a prize from the participating merchant. The grand prize winners also received an Easter basket filled with fun goodies provided by The Papers Inc.
Grand prize winners are chosen for each of the eligible grade levels. Rocco Rosario, Warsaw, a student at Leesburg Elementary, was the kindergarten grand prize winner and the store winner for Wendy’s, Warsaw. Kailea Smith, Warsaw, a student at Madison School, was the first grade winner along with winning at Creighton’s Crazy Egg, Warsaw.
Lillian Rose Schwartz, Warsaw, who is home schooled, is the second grade winner and the store winner at Arby’s North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Griffin Meridew, Warsaw, a student at Washington Stem Academy, was the third grade winner and the store winner at The Spectacle Shoppe. Evelyn Brown, North Webster, who is home schooled, was the fourth grade winner and the store winner at Wal-Mart.

Alister Dahman, Kokomo, kindergartner at North Western Elementary, won at Pizza Hut, North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Elizabeth Eckman, Warsaw, a second-grader at Madison Elementary, won at Heritage Fabrics and Addisyn Aylor, Winona Lake, a third-grader at Jefferson Elementary, won at Penguin Point, East Center Street, Warsaw.
Rebecca Paton, Leesburg, a second-grader at Washington Elementary, won at Buffalo Street Emporium, with her sister, Annabelle Paton, a third grader at Lincoln Elementary winning at Pizza Hut, Lakes Village. Their brother, Wyatt Paton, a kindergartner at Washington Elementary, won at The Dutch Kernal, Nappanee.
Austin Zile, Warsaw, a fourth-grader at Lincoln Elementary, is the winner at Penguin Point, North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Graham Deeds, Warsaw, a second-grader at Eisenhower Elementary, is the winner at Zale Drugs, Warsaw. Hadley Campbell, Warsaw, a first-grader at Washington Elementary, won at the Kosciusko County Community Fair, while Alex Leeper, Warsaw, a first-grader at Warsaw Christian School, won at Montieth’s, Warsaw.
Elliana Hontz, Warsaw, a fourth-grader at Eisenhower Elementary, won at Penguin Point West Lake Street, Warsaw; and Dennis Troyer, Milford, a kindergartner at Country Island School, won at Miller’s Rite Choice Foods, Nappanee.
