Roy G. Lewis, 66, Pierceton, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2019, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. He was born on Dec. 20, 1952, in Hazel Park, Mich. to Glen Allen and Beulah (Music) Lewis.
He grew up in Kentucky, attended public schools there, and moved to the Pierceton area several years ago. He was formerly employed at Ward Aluminum in Fort Wayne & Lewis Salvage in Warsaw.
He is survived by his daughter, Crista (Larry Hapner) Stanbaugh of Claypool; son, Matt (Nicole Sweatland) Lewis of Syracuse; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; brother, Allen Lewis of Kentucky; three half sisters: Sandy Jerrell, Diane Jerrell, and Tammy Jerrell all of Kentucky; five half brothers: Arnold, Warren, Andy, Joe, and Ken Jerrell all of Kentucky
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister: Zelda Lewis.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko Count, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw. No services will be held at this time. Private family burial will take place in Kentucky. Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd 13 & CR 500N, North Webster is in charge of arrangements.
