Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

5:53 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, SR 15, and East Prairie Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Nathan Polston, 35, North Old Road 15, Leesburg; Amanda See, 40, East CR 575N, Leesburg. Polston’s vehicle rear-ended See’s vehicle on wet pavement. Damage: Up to $2,500.

4:43 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, on Eastlake Drive and an access road behind Burger King in Warsaw. Drivers: Patricia Buskirk, 75, West Tyner Street, Warsaw; Kara Warren, 25, Lincoln Street, Bourbon. The vehicles collided in the intersection. Damage: Up to $2,500.

2:28 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, on SR 15 and Center Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Bonnie Freeman, 27, Chesnut Street, Wabash; Susan Hatala, 70, South Beaver Dam Road, Claypool. Freeman’s vehicle struck Hatala’s vehicle when her brakes malfunctioned. Damage: Up to $5,000.

1:34 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, on Shady Lane, near East Island View Drive. Drivers: Crisel Cunliffe, 40, East Island View, Warsaw; Sophia Parke, 19, East Market Street, Warsaw. Cunliffe was pulling out of her driveway when she struck Parke’s vehicle on Shady Lane. Damage: Up to $2,500.

North Webster

Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:

2:27 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, on South Blaine Street, north of Effie Mae Street, North Webster. Driver: Bonita Geiger, 90, North Blaine Street, North Webster. Geiger was momentarily distracted and drove off the road and struck a speed limit sign. Damage: Up to $2,500.
