Jane C. DeRolf
Jane C. DeRolf, 76, North Webster, passed away at 5:19 a.m. on Monday, April 29, 2019, at her home. She was born on Aug. 6, 1942, in Hammond to Charles and Dorothy (Thorpe) Kaufman.
She grew up in Hammond, graduated in 1960 from Hammond High School and attended Hammond Business College. She was married on March 23, 1963, in Hammond, to Eugene E. “Gene” DeRolf who survives. She was a homemaker and formerly worked for the F.B.I. in Chicago and Rosales in Hammond. She lived for a short time in Wisconsin before moving to the North Webster area in 1985.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in North Webster and a former member of the Order of Eastern Star in Hammond and Lady Lions in North Webster.
She is survived by her husband, Gene DeRolf of North Webster; two daughters: Debbie (Robert Tate) DeRolf of Syracuse; Deanna (Bob) Strombeck of North Webster; son, David (Tamara) DeRolf of Griffith; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, James “Jim” Kaufman.
Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Thursday, May 2, at Owen Family Funeral Home, SR 13 and CR 500N, North Webster and one hour prior to services on Friday at the church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 3, at the United Methodist Church, 7822 E. Epworth Forest Rd, North Webster, with Pastors Byron Kaiser and Bob Dailey officiating. Burial will follow in the Mock Addition of the North Webster Cemetery.
