Ermah E. Sparks, 68, North Manchester, passed away at 4:40 a.m. Saturday, April 27, 2019, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.
Daughter of William A. and Gladys M. (Walker) Strasser, Ermah was born on June 15, 1950, in Wabash.
For many years, Ermah worked as a CNA for various nursing homes in Wabash County, Indiana, Michigan and California. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ermah was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 286, Women of the Moose Chapter No. 866, both of North Manchester and Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary No. 549, Wabash.
Her loving memory will be remembered by her two sons, Bill (Angie Ring) Strasser, North Manchester and George (Laura) Sparks, Silver Lake; one daughter, Tonnie (Terry) Evans, Wabash; two sisters, Barbara Jean Miller, Wabash and Shari (Harold) Becker, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Ermah was preceded in death by her parents and brother John Strasser.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Moose Family Center, 207 E.Main St., North Manchester at a later date. Pastor J.P. Freeman will officiate.
