Wilma I. Rostochak
Wilma I. Rostochak, 88, Pierceton, passed away at 1:58 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2019, at her home. She was born on Jan. 13, 1931, in Pierceton, to Oscar and Elva (Reiff) Werstler.
She was a lifetime Pierceton area resident, graduated in 1949 from Pierceton High School, and attended Ravenscroft Beauty College in Fort Wayne. She was married on Oct. 28, 1950, in Pierceton, to Michael T. “Mike” Rostochak who survives. She was a homemaker, a self-employed beautician, and formerly worked at Da Lite Screens in Warsaw.
She formerly attended the Morris Chapel in Warsaw.
She is survived by her husband, Mike Rostochak, Pierceton; two daughters: Becky (Doug) Mason, Syracuse; Diane Rostochak, Albion; son, Mike (Martha) Rostochak Jr., Larwill; daughter-in-law, Molly Rostochak, Leesburg; ten grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; sister, Marilyn Ritchison, Warsaw; brother, Jim (Diana) Werstler, Columbia City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Jeffrey Rostochak, sister, Alice Davis, and brother, Ray Werstler.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, at Owen Family Funeral Home, SR 13 and CR 500N, North Webster. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24, in the funeral home with Rev. Malcolm “Bud” Winstead of the West Etna Community Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Pierceton.
