Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
6:28 a.m. Wednesday, April 17, South CR 600W, south of West CR 700S, Mentone. Driver: Erica L. McFadden, 28, West CR 100S, Warsaw. McFadden was traveling south on CR 600W when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $5,000.
9:16 a.m. Tuesday, April 16, West US 30, west of North CR 200W, Warsaw. Drivers: Jon J. Jasperse, 33, Lagoon Drive, Grabill; and David D. Arnold, 68, East Old Road 30 63E, Warsaw. Both Jasperse and Arnold were traveling eastbound in the right lane of US 30 when Arnold’s vehicle locked up for an unknown reason. When this occurred, Jasperse’s vehicle rear-ended Arnold’s. Damage up to $10,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
10:27 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, South Buffalo Street, west of East Prairie Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Eathan S. Prater, 16, North Buffalo Street, Burket; and Tina L. Bauer, 56, East Old Road 30, Warsaw. Bauer’s vehicle was facing eastbound on West Prairie Street at the intersection of South Buffalo Street for a green light. As she continued eastbound through the intersection, Prater’s vehicle entered the intersection, causing a collision. Bauer complained of knee, lower leg, and foot pain as a result of the accident. Damage up to $10,000.
7:51 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, 823 E. Winona Ave., Warsaw. Drivers: Julian D.L. Fuentes, 24, East Jefferson Street, Warsaw; and Richard A. Caldwell, 52, North Biomet Drive, Warsaw. Fuentes’ vehicle was parked at a gas station pump when he opened his vehicle’s front passenger door. As he did this, the tire of Caldwell’s vehicle struck Fuentes’ vehicle door. Damage up to $2,500.
8:46 a.m. Wednesday, April 17, SR 15, north of Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. Drivers: William P. Combs, 59, East Center Street, Warsaw; and Michelle E. Shenefield, 27, Deer Trail, Warsaw. Combs was traveling northbound in the right lane of traffic when he attempted to change lanes. As he attempted this, he sideswiped Shenefield’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
