Officers from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
10:32 a.m. Sunday, April 14, SR 25, west of South 1200W, near Mentone and in Marshall County. Driver: Benden J. Kiphart, 31, South Oak Street, Mentone. A wild turkey flew into the path of the vehicle and smashed into the windshield. Damage: Up to $2,500.
1:15 a.m. Saturday, April 13, on South Country Club Road, north of West CR 300S, near Warsaw. Driver: Holden Ihnen, 20, Country Club Drive, Warsaw. The vehicle left the road and struck a pole. Driver left the scene and was found shortly afterward. Damage: Up to $10,000.
