Officers from the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
4:37 p.m. Monday, April 8, SR 15, north of East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Alivia N. May, 18, East Main Street, Warsaw; Scot A. Karbach, 57, Downy Drive, Warsaw. May told police she was driving her vehicle northbound on SR 15 and that when the vehicle in front of her slowed down to turn, she attempted to change lanes and, not seeing the vehicle driven by Karbach, caused a side-swipe collision. Damage up to $5,000.
2:45 p.m. Monday, April 8, US 30, east of Anchorage Road, Warsaw. Drivers: Taylor N. Sinotte, 20, Wickford Drive, Kalamazoo, Mich.; David W. Lincoln, 70, Brookview Drive, Warsaw. Sinotte told police she was driving her vehicle westbound on US 30 and did not notice Lincoln’s vehicle come to a stop in front of her, causing her vehicle to collide with the rear of Lincoln’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
1:46 p.m. Monday, April 8, North Detroit Street, north of Lyon Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Sandra J. Stewart, 53, East Crooked Mile Road, Cromwell; Megan K. Carpenter, 25, West SR 38, Pendleton. Stewart told police she was driving her vehicle out of the El Arriero parking lot and was turning turning right on SR 15 and did not see the vehicle driven by Carpenter. Stewart told police she pulled her vehicle into Carpenter’s lane of travel and that her vehicle collided with Carpenter’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
